Ok, so not every week can be great! I started the first cooking session at home, at it went great. Deepta ate a pakora.

She developed Pink Eye, so she was sort of out of it. At work, the WFC closed so we had some turbulence, but all in all we seem to be back in business by the weekend. I got Deepts, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish and Blue Fish.

A couple of days back, Aadi has learn't to say Mama. This really was not a milestone Deepta ever reached per say. She waited till she actually started talking and then just called me Mummy.

He moved into his room, which is still being inhabitted by our shelves and computers last evening. I just have to get things together and move. He seemed to do fine.

Today, he had his 9-mo check up. He did fairly well for someone who had three shots and blood drawn.

I have not had much time this week to really update this or do too much. Aadi had some mild stomach flu so he was a little under weather. He has finally learned to say Mama! I think he actually means it.

Deepta is like the child who left me since she was born. She is sometimes so far away, I wonder what she will be like in her teens. Or maybe since I will be so used to this, I will not have to worry. I spent the whole week fussing to get their website and mine working.

There have been ups and downs with this entire cooking fiasco. It is interesting how involved one can get when it becomes a establishment issue. There just maybe a closet entrepreneur in me after all.

Well, this was quite a weekend. We had Hema and family visiting. We had a chockful of others also visiting on Sunday. Did not get very much done. Have an AOM deadline that I somehow have to manage today.

Aadi has learnt three more consonants, he says na, ga, and Kau. The kau sounds a lot like a crow, he is true to the breed and practices this as soon as he wakes up.

Aadi had learned to clap!
He has been doing that since yesterday. Something seems to have been bothering him, he has been really unhappy since yesterday. He spent a good part of the evening crying and refusing to eat.
