Another year has started. Deepta started preschool today. She is brimming with confidence as usual and acting so very grown up. She is really doing well with the music and seemed to fit right into her new class.

Aadi is becoming naughty and fussy with food. Khokon spent a lot time with him this weekend. For a change he actually did not spend this visit running.
Aadi is also trying to learn how to stand. He can almost do it without support now. He has carved out a toy corner for himself and tries to hang out there.

Deepta wants dosas tonite. I plan on making them, I hope she plans on eating them.

Deepta went to school in a bad mood today.

I have been home sick with Sophie my oldest child. She is a calico colored kitty. She has not been getting as much attention lately, after the kids. She plays very well with Aadi my eight month old.

Aadi is all over the place crawling, he is going through separation anxiety he follows me everywhere and sometimes tries to eat me in lieu of dinner.

Deepta is a spirited, feisty two and a half old. She has an opinion about everything. She loves books especially the Dr. Seuss ones. She loves fighting with me or as she says "teasing Ma"

This has been such a quiet weekend. We have managed to catch up on some sleep. I am trying to interest Deepta in the wonders of cooking, she seems to prefer The cat in a Hat instead. She is trying to speak Hindi.

Aadi follows everyone around. He is trying to mimic faces when I make them so we make cat faces at each other.
